Product Literature

245A is a 2 inch deep adjustable (operable) louver with straight blades. Sideseals on the jambs minimize air and water penetration. It is ideal for ventilation in panel-wall buildings and doors requiring modulated airflow. For deeper walls, see 445A - 4 inch adjustable louver. For non-modulated airflow, see 245 - 2 inch fixed-blade louver.

  • 0.070 inch (1.78 mm) thick aluminum extrusions
  • Low Leakage (LL) nylon sideseals between jambs and blade edges
  • 1/2" aluminum flatbar linkage; Aluminum brackets
  • Assembled with cadmium plated screws and rivets
  • Screen installed on back face

  • 1/4" welded square mesh, 25ga galvanized steel; Fastened on back face

Adjustment & locking device

  • Manual adjustment with wingnut lock

  • Back-face linkage and control for standard building installation
  • Front-face linkage and control for exterior operation (optional)
  1. Sleeve or hood (not supplied) is recommended for surface mount.
  2. First point of water penetration, based on tests conducted in our factory on 36"x36" unit.
